The Trumbull County Planning Commission works to protect and enhance a sustainable and high quality of life in Trumbull County and the Mahoning Valley by providing land-use and infrastructure planning, economic development, affordable housing, zoning and subdivision reviews, floodplain administration, mapping, and information services.
The Planning Commission’s unified, high performance team of Board and professional staff members promote well-planned growth that is supported by the principles of sustainable planning and zoning, economic vitality, environmental responsibility and social equity.
We work to ensure that our great county’s diverse urban, suburban and rural centers thrive, and are models to other communities nationwide. To that end, our team builds proactive partnerships and alliances that range from the federal government to village councils, and from business organizations to community groups.
